If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use the Site. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. All amended terms automatically take effect when these Terms & Conditions are updated. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to the Terms and Conditions will mean you accept those changes. Please return to this page periodically to review any changes.

Travel Information

  • Our Website displays information about travel locations, airfares, travel agents locations, flight times and dates, tours, packages, insurance, cruises, transportation, foreign currency, schedules, travel companies and many other things.
  • This information is supplied to us by third party providers; such are airlines, hotels and transportation suppliers ("Service Provider"). We have taken reasonable care to ensure it is correct and up to date; however we cannot check the accuracy of such information.
  • Many of the services which made up your travel booking are provided by the Service Providers. The Service Provider provides these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier's liability to you.
  • We accept no responsibility for information supplied to us by third parties. We recommend you confirm all information contained on or linked from our Website with the third party provider.
  • The details of the prices, packages, tours, flights and other information displayed on the Website are subject to change without notice. The travel products and services described on the Website are subject to availability.
  • It should be noted that all documents issued to travelers are non – transferable. Such documents may include but are not limited to, airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers, or any other document used to confirm an arrangement with a Service Provider. Such documents may also be subject to conditions such as, but not limited to, being non – refundable, non – date – changeable and subject to cancellation or amendment fees. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these conditions.
  • If for any reason, any Service Provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that Service Provider, and not against us. In the event we received payment by Credit Card, you agree that you will not seek to chargeback or recover your payment or any other losses from us.
  • You are responsible for obtaining all passports, visa and health information required.

Prices

  • Prices include travel agency’s compensation for services, operation, promotion, and profit. Prices are subject to change without notice. All package prices are quoted per person based on double occupancy, unless otherwise noted. All prices are based on availability. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of our prices in print and when quoted by phone or email, Tikal Travel Vacations Inc. reserves the right to make subsequent adjustments if it is discovered that a particular price was shown or quoted incorrectly. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes and/or substitutions in the itinerary where deemed necessary for the benefit of all passengers.
  • At times, even after the confirmation of a reservation, the fare may change. We will notify you of any fare changes and we do not assume any responsibility - financial or otherwise for any such fare changes. We will notify you of the new fare and at that point you may either cancel or still purchase the product at the new cost
  • Insurance
    Many of the problems for which we cannot be held responsible for can be insured against. We highly recommend that you take out insurance to provide adequate cover for medical expenses, personal accident, loss of baggage and curtailment or cancellation of trip. Individuals are responsible to finance on the spot medical treatment and other contingencies, and then to reclaim this from insurance, if covered. You will be required to provide documentation to the insurance company to facilitate a claim. Please note that there are exclusions to coverage of insurance. It is our responsibility to be familiar with the insurance coverage purchased and ensure that the coverage meets your travel needs. Insurance has be purchased and paid for in full as soon as the booking is made to become fully effective.
  • Specials
    "Specials" are available for a limited time. You must check with us whether a "special" displayed on our Website is still available. There may be particular terms and conditions that apply to "specials". You must contact us or the third party provider of the "special" to determine whether any particular terms and conditions apply.
  • You must pay for "specials" booked by you and confirmed by us within 72 hours of booking confirmation, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing. Failure to pay for the "special" within this time may result in cancellation of the booking. We accept no responsibility for loss incurred due to cancellation in these circumstances.
  • Linking
    We may link our Website to other sites on the Web. These links are provided for your convenience only and we make no warranties or representations whatsoever regarding any other Website, which you may access through this Website. It does not mean that we have looked at these sites or that we have checked them out.
  • We are not responsible for the content of other websites, even if we link to them. We are not recommending these websites or their products or services to you. If you suffer any loss or damage from visiting another's website or using another's product or service, we are not liable.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENT TERMS

1.  All credit cards must have verifiable US or Canadian billing address.

3.  If there is any issue with the credit card, we will notify you within 24 hours, submitting the credit card does not automatically guarantee ticketing.

4.  Tikal Travel Vacations Inc. bears no responsibility in the event your credit card is not charged by  Tikal Travel Vacations Inc.. There can be a number of reasons for which credit card may not have been charged by Tikal Travel Vacations Inc., such as: Airline did not confirm the booking, fare increased since payment information was submitted, insufficient funds available in the credit card, etc.

5.  Tikal Travel Vacations Inc. uses stringent safety measures for credit card payment processing. Fraudulent transactions if any, are reported to airport security, airlines and other federal and state organizations.

6.  You agree to be liable for any and all credit card payments disputes or other problems such as fraud made to us or the supplier on behalf of you or any individual you are representing. You agree to reimburse Tikal Travel Vacations Inc. in cases of fraud or charge backs.

7.  All credit card transactions over the phone to our Customer Service Department are recorded and are available as evidence in case of any dispute or for legal form of evidence.

8.  Online credit card transactions are authorized at the time a user or anyone acting on their behalf accepts these terms and conditions and provides an electronic signature.

  1. ITINERARY RE-CONFIRMATION

It is the responsibility of the passenger who has booked with us online or has made booking over phone to review and reconfirm names, dates, flight numbers, airlines, routing including any airport changes are in accordance and acceptance of the passenger. If you discover any discrepancy or you don't agree, you are requested to immediately contact Tikal Travel Vacations Inc. over phone not over 4 hours from the time booking is made.

    If we don't hear from you within 4 hours we shall consider the booking you have made to be acceptable to you and we do not assume any liability thereafter for any changes whatsoever.

    You are requested to review and save the itinerary.

AIRLINES SCHEDULE CHANGES/FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS
Tikal Travel Vacations Inc. highly recommends that you re-confirm your flight schedules with the respective airlines at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to your departure. Please take note that many airlines make schedule changes with little notice and/or explanation.

If an airline has a change to any of its flights and such changes are within a 4 hour period of your original flight times, we will notify you of such change by email. We will attempt to contact you; however, due to various reasons if we are unable to get in touch with you, our email will serve as a final notice. For all such changes within a 4 hour period, tickets will remain non-refundable. Certain ticket types may be non-refundable even when the schedule change is over 4 hours.

Tikal Travel Vacations Inc. does not assume any liability whatsoever for cancelled flights, flights that are missed, or flights not connecting due to any scheduled changes made by the airlines.
