Welcome to the Tikaltravel.com. Tikal Travel & Services Inc. and Tikal Travel Use of the Site is governed by the following terms and conditions. By using the site you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use the Site. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. All amended terms automatically take effect when these Terms & Conditions are updated. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to the Terms and Conditions will mean you accept those changes. Please return to this page periodically to review any changes.

Travel Information

Our Website displays information about travel locations, airfares, travel agents, flight times and dates, tours, packages, insurance, cruises, transportation, foreign currency, schedules, travel companies and many other things. This information is supplied to us by third-party providers; such are airlines, hotels and transportation suppliers ("Service Provider"). We have taken reasonable care to ensure it is correct and up to date; however, we cannot check the accuracy of such information.

Many of the services which made up your travel booking are provided by the Service Providers. The Service Provider provides these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier's liability to you.

The details of the prices, packages, tours, flights and other information displayed on the Website are subject to change without notice. The travel products and services described on the Website are subject to availability.

It should be noted that all documents issued to travelers are nontransferable. Such documents may include but are not limited to, airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers, or any other document used to confirm an arrangement with a Service Provider. Such documents may also be subject to conditions such as, but not limited to, being nonrefundable, and subject to cancellation or amendment fees. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these conditions.

If for any reason, any Service Provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that Service Provider, and not against us. In the event we received payment by Credit Card, you agree that you will not seek to chargeback or recover your payment or any other losses from us.

Prices include travel agency’s compensation for services, operation, promotion, and profit. Prices are subject to change without notice. All package prices are quoted per person based on double occupancy unless otherwise noted. All prices are based on availability. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of our prices in print and when quoted by phone or email, Tikal Travel reserves the right to make subsequent adjustments if it is discovered that a particular price was shown or quoted incorrectly. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes and/or substitutions in the itinerary where deemed necessary for the benefit of all passengers.

At times, even after the confirmation of a reservation, the fare may change. We will notify you of any fare changes and we do not assume any responsibility - financial or otherwise for any such fare changes. We will notify you of the new fare and at that point, you may either cancel or still purchase the product at the new cost


For your protection, we recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident protection. However, no representation or description of the protection made by TikalTravel to you constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the protection. Tikal Travel is not an insurance company and has no responsibility for the submission, payment or adjustment of any insurance claims. Any claims that may fall under the relevant travel protection policy must be submitted to the insurance company identified in the policy.


Additional taxes and surcharges that cannot be pre-collected may be charged locally by car rental agencies, hotels or other suppliers. Most properties and vehicle rental/leasing companies require a credit card imprint at check-in.

Passports: All individuals departing from the United States of America must be in possession of a valid passport. Please check that your passport is valid for 6 months or longer than your intended travel time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. You are responsible for confirming with the United States Department of State or representative government agency of the country to which you are traveling to confirm the requirements for visas and/or other requirements for admission to your destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. A government issued ID is required for travel within the USA, however, depending on the State of departure or arrival, a passport may be required instead of a driver’s license. Please check with your Travel consultant.

HEALTH AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. Please advise your consultant about any special requirements you may have, for example, special meals, medical requirements and so on.

"Promotions" are available for a limited time. You must check with us whether a “promotion” displayed on our Website is still available. There may be particular terms and conditions that apply to "specials". You must contact to determine whether any particular promotion is still in effect, terms and conditions apply.

You must pay for "Promotions" booked by you and confirmed by us within 24 hours of booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed by us in writing. Failure to pay within this time may result in cancellation of the booking. We accept no responsibility for loss incurred due to cancellation in these circumstances.

We may link our Website to other sites on the Web. These links are provided for your convenience only and we make no warranties or representations whatsoever regarding any other Website, which you may access through this Website. It does not mean that we have looked at these sites or that we have checked them out.

We are not responsible for the content of other websites, even if we link to them. We are not recommending these websites or their products or services to you. If you suffer any loss or damage from visiting another's website or using another's product or service, we are not liable.


All credit cards must have verifiable US or Canadian billing address.

If you are making an online purchase for another individual or entity please contact us at promotions@tikaltravel.com with your requirements.

If there is an issue with the credit card, we will notify you within 24 hours, submitting the credit card does not automatically guarantee ticketing.

Tikal Travel. bears no responsibility in the event your credit card is not charged by Tikal Travel There can be a number of reasons for which credit card may not have been charged by Tikal Travel., such as: Airline did not confirm the booking, fare increased since payment information was submitted, insufficient funds available in the credit card, etc.

Tikal Travel uses stringent safety measures for credit card payment processing. Fraudulent transactions if any, are reported to airport security, airlines and other federal and state organizations.

You agree to be liable for any and all credit card payments disputes or other problems such as fraud made to us or the supplier on behalf of you or any individual you are representing. You agree to reimburse Tikal Travel in cases of fraud or chargebacks.

All credit card transactions over the phone to our Customer Service Department are recorded and are available as evidence in case of any dispute or for the legal form of evidence.

Online credit card transactions are authorized at the time a user or anyone acting on their behalf accepts these terms and conditions and provides an electronic signature.


It is the responsibility of the passenger who has booked with us online or has made booking over the phone to review and reconfirm names, dates, flight numbers, airlines, routing including any airport changes are in accordance and acceptance of the passenger. If you discover any discrepancy or you don't agree, you are requested to immediately contact Tikal Travel. over the phone not over 4 hours from the time booking is made. 

If we don't hear from you within 4 hours we shall consider the booking you have made to be acceptable to you and we do not assume any liability thereafter for any changes whatsoever.
You are requested to review and save the itinerary.

Tikal Travel
highly recommends that you re-confirm your flight schedules with the respective airlines at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to your departure. Please take note that many airlines make schedule changes with little notice and/or explanation.

If an airline has a change to any of its flights and such changes are within a 4-hour period of your original flight times, we will notify you of such change by email. We will attempt to contact you; however, due to various reasons, if we are unable to get in touch with you, our email will serve as a final notice. For all such changes within a 4-hour period, tickets will remain non-refundable. Certain ticket types may be non-refundable even when the schedule change is over 4 hours. 

Tikal Travel does not assume any liability whatsoever for canceled flights, flights that are missed, or flights not connecting due to any scheduled changes made by the airlines.
